Syncware is a platform that allows connectivity for IoT devices and other systems. This approach allows users to collect, manage and analyze data from multiple sensors and devices.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to integrate a sensor with Syncware:

  • Gather information about the sensor: Before integrating the sensor with Syncware, you'll need to gather information about the sensor, such as its specifications, data format, and communication protocol. This information will be necessary for the next steps.
    • Follow this link to understand how to prepare the data and send it to Syncware.
  • Register the sensor with Syncware: Go to the Syncware platform and create an account. Once you've created an account, you'll be able to register your sensor by providing its specifications and other relevant information.
    • Integration with IoT Sensors is currently _unavailable _in the app.syncware.ai. Contact us to understand the application and provide a suitable solution with Syncware.
  • Connect the sensor to the Syncware platform: To connect the sensor to the Syncware platform, you'll need to select the sensor vendor from the menu at the bottom of the integrations tab.

  • Configure the sensor: Once the sensor is connected to the gateway, you'll need to configure it to send data to the Syncware platform. This may involve setting up the sensor's name, MQTT broker, topic, and other parameters for connection, such as username, password and dedicated broker port.

  • Test the integration: After the sensor is connected and configured, test the integration by saving the connection configuration first. After the information is saved, you will be able to click on connect. You can view the data in the Syncware dashboard to verify that it's being received and processed correctly.

    • The display refresh rate on the Syncware platform depends on.
      • The maximum refresh for dashboards is set to 5s. (Contact Syncware if a faster refresh is required. Min allowable is 1s)
  • Deploy the sensor: If the test is successful and there is data being visualized, you can deploy the sensor in its final location.

    • API data access. (Contact Syncware to request access to the data over an API)
  • Monitor the data: Once the sensor is deployed, you can monitor the data it collects in real-time through the Syncware dashboard.

    • You can also set up alerts and notifications to receive updates on the sensor's status and performance. (Contact Syncware to request access to adapt this feature)

That's it! With these steps, you should be able to integrate your sensor with the Syncware platform and start collecting, managing and analyzing data from it.
